Class is back in session — and this one's held above Whyte. The Desi Troop takes over Skybar, the luxury rooftop patio hidden above Edmonton's most iconic street. Elevated booths, panoramic open-air views, the whole strip humming underneath. It's a room built on afro and Latin sound — for one night, it belongs entirely to Bollywood. A big Bollywood DJ flies in from Toronto to headline, with a set that runs Bollywood through EDM, afro, tech and house. Songs you know every word to, dropped in ways you've never heard them. Back to School Edition means dress code. Pleated skirts, cropped blazers, oversized ties, knee-highs, varsity jackets, crisp oxfords, fresh sneakers. Dress for a class you were always going to skip. Curated bar all night. Elevated VIP booths with elite bottle service and the best view in the room — limited tables, and they go early every single time. Saturday of the long weekend.
